Manager Business Analyst
Summary
Efficient Frontier's Manager of Business Analyst Group is responsible for leading a team of Marketing Strategists and Analysts to devise effective strategies for Efficient Frontier's clients' search marketing campaigns, with the main goal of driving our clients' business/ROI goals. The Manager of Business Analyst Group should be creative, detail-oriented and a team-player.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver continuous feedback to the Product team for product enhancements and provide guidance for devising an effective strategy for the clients' marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Project and Account Management groups to ensure the Business Analysts' resources during pre-sale, launch and operation of the accounts.
- Share insight into Efficient Frontier's clients on growth opportunities and challenges related to client's marketing initiatives keeping in view client's competitive landscape and market trends.
- Provide visibility on all the programs and projects your team will be working on at anytime to ensure timely delivery of the analytical services to internal and external clients.
- Interface with the Product team extensively to provide business insight based on case studies conducted by your group that will provide guidelines for the features and enhancements in Efficient Frontier's core algorithm.
- Identify, plan and implement processes and tools to ensure a scalable group that delivers to the service level agreement committed to internal and external clients.
- Manage all operational aspects of the Business Analyst team to ensure business and product objectives. Operational aspects are defined as: staffing, project and task assignments, priority setting, team development, annual reviews, technology decisions and direction, and status reporting in addition to handling day-to-day escalations.
- Provide technical oversight to ensure Service Oriented Architectural compatibility, plan and execute tasks, manage, mentor and motivate a talented team of Business Analysts.
- Provide employee development, coaching and team building in addition to ensuring the implementation of optimized processes and procedures to guarantee efficient operations through the provision of best tools and environment for rapidly producing software.
- Conduct periodic analysis of Business Analysts' activities, and make recommendations as necessary.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- MBA, MS or BS in computer science or engineering
- 5 or more years of experience in search engine marketing (SEM) or in an analytical role as a lead with strong background in strategy development preferably in online search marketing
- Consultative ability to assist customer in identifying their requirements and present recommendations on the most appropriate solutions
- Strong presentation and writing skills for client meetings, proposals and technical/business
- Established track record of persuading clients for complex technical and business proposals during pre-launch and post launch phases
- Understand technical issues enough to comprehend Efficient Frontier's product at a functional level and to understand configuration requirements once the client's business goals/objectives are identified with respect to SEM
- Self-sufficient to be technically conversant with key client technical personnel
- Advanced use of computer tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
- Management skills to effectively coordinate company resources to provide prompt, appropriate response to customer requirements
- A responsible team player with positive attitude, a high degree of personal integrity and a strong work ethic are essential

Manager Technical Support
Efficient Frontier's Technical Support Engineer Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities of troubleshooting our client issues, fixing product defects and implementing minor product enhancements to Efficient Frontier's products. The Technical Support Engineer Manager must have excellent problem solving skills and strong communication skills. This is a multi-function position so the ability to multi-task is a must.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the Technical Support Engineers responsible for Level - 3 support who will troubleshoot, resolve or escalate the issues reported by Level 1 and 2
- Provide visibility on all the product and process related issues and manage timely resolution of these issues
- Interface with Engineering, QA and Product teams to develop consensus on customer related issues to ensure timely resolutions
- Identify, plan and implement processes and tools to ensure a scalable group that delivers top of the line service to both, internal and external clients
- Manage all operational aspects of the team to ensure business and product objectives are met
- Provide technical oversight to ensure Service Oriented Architectural compatibility, plan and execute tasks, manage, mentor and motivate a talented team of Technical Support engineers
- Establish, implement and continually monitor metrics for measuring quality and effectiveness of the Technical Services group
- Provide employee development, coaching, and team building in addition to ensuring the implementation of optimized processes and procedures to ensure efficient operations through the provision of best tools and environment for rapidly producing software
Minimum Job Qualifications
- MS or BS in computer science or engineering
- 5 + years of experience in both enterprise software development and/or Technical Support activities in a lead role
- Experience trouble shooting customer issues in a multi-tiered enterprise application
- Expert in Python, Java and Perl with excellent understanding of SML/XSL
- Expertise in at least two SQL database technologies and knowledge of XML database technologies
- Good knowledge of J2EE framework
- Good working knowledge of multiple Web servers, such as IIS and Apache, on Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Good working knowledge of multiple RDBMS, such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgress and DB2. Experienced in SQL knowledge for data creation, querying or manipulation is required
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
