Product Operations
Efficient Frontier's Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for creating and executing test plans and test cases for both white and black box applications. The Quality Assurance Engineer must enjoy working in a fast-paced, evolving, customer-oriented environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Create defect reports and drive issues to resolution
- Perform regression testing
- Report on defect trends and create useful metrics
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Solid experience with rapid development cycles in a Web-based environment
- Experience testing tiered, Web-based applications
- Strong scripting and/or test automation abilities
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with source control systems, and build and release activities
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Basic/Intermediate command of Python, Perl, Java, and/or C/C++
- Experience setting up and maintaining a test lab using VMWare
- Experience creating monitoring systems
